English Shifts: At the barbecue stand, there are two shifts that are specifically offered in English and are suitable for English-speaking students. The introduction and all explanations will be in English. Of course, everyone is still welcome to sign up!

Your duties: At the barbecue stand, we serve meat, fish and vegetable specialities straight from the grill to our customers. If you enjoy working behind the grill with a fun team, this is the perfect place for you!

Important: Please bring sturdy footwear and a positive attitude. Clean T-shirts and aprons will be provided.

Your reward: You will receive vouchers that you can redeem for food or drink, as well as appropriate meals during your shift and a TUNIX Open Air T-shirt (after 2 shifts).

English Shifts: At the Food Prep stand, there are two shifts that are specifically offered in English and are suitable for English-speaking students. The introduction and all explanations will be in English. Of course, everyone is still welcome to sign up!

Your tasks: The food stall is the TUNIX’s catering hub. This is where all the cold dishes are prepared, as well as the rolls and flatbreads for the barbecue stall. Here, all volunteers will find a task they enjoy, whilst helping to satisfy the visitors’ appetites.

Important: Please bring sturdy footwear and a cheerful attitude. Clean T-shirts and aprons will be provided.

Your reward: You will receive tokens that you can redeem for food or drink, as well as appropriate meals during your shift and a TUNIX Open Air T-shirt (after 2 shifts).

English Shifts: At the Food Service Area, there are two shifts that are specifically offered in English and are suitable for English-speaking students. The introduction and all explanations will be in English. Of course, everyone is still welcome to sign up!

Your duties: At the serving counter, you’ll serve the specialities prepared by the barbecue and food stall directly to our customers. If you enjoy working with a fun team and have a knack for customer service, this is the perfect role for you.

Important: Please bring sturdy footwear and a positive attitude. Clean T-shirts and aprons will be provided.

Your reward: You will receive vouchers that you can redeem for food or drink, as well as appropriate meals during your shift and a TUNIX Open Air T-shirt (after 2 shifts).

Your tasks: Over the next two days, we’ll be setting up TUNIX together! Help the TUNIX team with pitching tents, setting up the beer garden or kitting out the stalls. On Saturday, we’ll be putting up the basic framework, including the stalls and fencing. We’ll take care of the finer details – such as fitting out the stalls and all the visual elements – on Sunday.

Important: Please bring sturdy footwear (safety boots if you have them) and robust, comfortable clothing. Work gloves will be provided, as will the necessary tools.

Good to know: You don’t need any special DIY skills or to be particularly strong. It’s enough if you enjoy getting stuck in, as there’s something for everyone to do :) Plus, there’s breakfast or lunch at the start of your shift.

Your tasks: After a week of setting up TUNIX, we’ll be taking everything down again over two days and a short night shift. We’ll start on Friday evening with the beer garden and tackle the rest of the site on Saturday and Sunday.

Important: Please bring sturdy footwear (safety boots are welcome if you have them) and robust, comfortable clothing. Work gloves will be provided, as will the necessary tools.

Good to know: You don’t need any exceptional DIY skills or to be particularly strong. It’s enough if you enjoy getting stuck in, as there’s something for everyone to do :) There’s also breakfast or lunch at the start of each shift (except Friday evening).

Knowledge of the German language is mandatory for this shift!

Please sign up for any other available shift. Helping as a Security Guard is only allowed for students speaking German fluently.

Your tasks: At the dessert stand, we serve customers our delicious waffles, crêpes and much more. If you have a sweet tooth and love treats, then come and join us in this wonderland of sweet delights. Whether you prefer interacting with customers and offering them an unforgettable taste experience, or creating these delicious works of art in the kitchen, we have a place for you!

Your duties: During your shift in the beer garden, you will be responsible for keeping the beer garden tidy. Specifically, you will check that the tables are neatly arranged, that the parasols are either open or put away, and that the tables remain clean and dry.

Your duties: When stocking up, you’ll help our team ensure we always have all the essential ingredients for TUNIX on hand. If you’d like to help us with our shopping, please get in touch at tunixhelfen@fs.tum.de!

Your rewards: You’ll receive vouchers that you can redeem for food or drink, as well as adequate meals during your shift and a TUNIX Open Air T-shirt (after 2 shifts).

Your tasks: If you enjoy capturing special moments and would like to support us creatively, we’d love to have you on the photography and video team! During the festival, you’ll take photos and videos of the bands, the team and the volunteers at the stalls, so that we can collect lovely memories and material for our PR work. After the festival, it would be great if you could do a quick initial sort of your footage and send it to us as soon as possible. You should have some experience with photography and bring your own camera. This shift is a great way to get a taste of what it’s like to be a volunteer.

Important: The main focus is on capturing the special atmosphere of the festival! Please bring sturdy footwear and a good mood. If you can’t make it for the whole day, just let us know in the comments section – we’ll work out a suitable solution together.

Your responsibilities: As a first-aider at TUNIX, you will attend to any injuries or health issues that may arise during the festival. You will therefore be a key point of contact for visitors and, together with the team, will ensure that assistance is provided quickly and professionally.

Important: To help out as a first-aider, you must have completed first-aid training. This can be from either an aid organisation or the "Training to become a Paramedic course ("Ausbildung zum/zur FachsanitäterIn"). Please send your certificate to sanis@fs.tum.de so that you can be added to our internal duty roster.

Your reward: For your shift, you will receive a TUNIX T-shirt as well as more tokens than for other shifts.

Your responsibilities: AStA-Technik handles all technical aspects of student events at TUM. This includes setting up and dismantling technical equipment, as well as managing the lighting and sound systems during the event.

Important: No prior experience is required. You’ll learn everything you need to know on the day of the event or during voluntary training sessions led by our experienced team. I agree to the processing of my given personal data for the registration as helper for student events (helfen.fs.tum.de) by Fachschaft MPIC of Technical University of Munich (www.fs.tum.de/impressum). This includes in particular the creation of helper lists, sending information mails about the event, a call in case of urgent and important matters, if applicable the creation of badges for the event and if applicable the invitation to the helpers’ party after the event.
