Support us with setting up and dismantling the maiTUM. This might for example include setting up the tables and benches or equipping the stalls.

Don't worry, the tent will already be built. To appreciate your help you will get coupons for a meal and a liter of a drink of your choice for the event. Upon the completion of 2 shifts you will also receive an exclusive maiTUM T-shirt. The dismantling shift counts as 2 shifts. Of course, you will be provided with food and drinks during your shift.

To help as a security, it is required that you speak German fluently! In case you don't, you unfortunately won't be able to help with security. However, don't worry, there are a lot of other jobs for you available here.

At the bar, you'll help us mix and serve long drinks and spritzes. With a smile on your face, you'll make sure our guests are well taken care of and the vibes stay high.

As a thank you, you'll receive one food token and two drink tokens per shift. If you work two or more shifts, you’ll also get an exclusive maiTUM T-shirt. Of course, we’ll keep you fueled with free food and drinks during your shift.

Here you are not at a fixed stand, but moving around the whole tent. Your job is to keep everything tidy. You help to prepare everything so that the guests feel comfortable at the event. This includes cleaning the tables and distributing the menus.

No prior knowledge is required to work in this department. Everything you need to know will be taught by our expert staff during the events or as part of voluntary training courses.

Join the Awareness Rookies team at MaiTUM and help create a safe, respectful and non-discriminatory atmosphere for everyone. As a rookie, you’ll always be on patrol in pairs with an experienced member, so you can learn the Awareness Team’s duties safely and step by step. Together, you’ll respect boundaries, support those affected and ensure everyone can party in a relaxed atmosphere. As you’ll be playing an important role as part of the Awareness patrol, it’s essential to stay sober. All other drinks and food are free for you. It is also important to be able to speak and understand both English and German. As a shopping assistant, you’ll come with us to the wholesale market (Hamberger and Metro) to help us find everything we need for MaiTUM, and then help distribute the items to the stalls.

PLEASE NOTE: As it’s not yet entirely clear exactly when we’ll be going shopping in the morning or where we’ll be meeting, please make sure you provide a working phone number.

I agree to the processing of my given personal data for the registration as helper for student events (helfen.fs.tum.de) by Fachschaft MPIC of Technical University of Munich (www.fs.tum.de/impressum). This includes in particular the creation of helper lists, sending information mails about the event, a call in case of urgent and important matters, if applicable the creation of badges for the event and if applicable the invitation to the helpers’ party after the event. Access to the personal data is only granted to selected organizers of the event. The data will be deleted 6 months after the event.

At any given time, without affecting the legitimacy of the processing of my data on the basis of prior approval, I may withdraw my consent until my submission of consent on the basis of Article 6(1)(GDPR) (General Data Protection Regulation).
